Women’s Cricket

In early August 2025 Southgate Cricket Club hosted an introduction to cricket session for women who have played little or no cricket before. It went really well, so we hosted two more sessions in August 2025. We then entered a team into the Middlesex Indoor Women’s Cricket League in October/November 2025, which was also a great success.

As we continue to build this new section of the club we’re very happy to welcome women and girls regardless of their previous experience playing cricket. If you’re completely new to the sport we’ll provide coaching to help you learn the game and build a solid fundamental skillset. If you have played before we’ll help you get better! Southgate is a great place to play cricket and we’re always very welcoming to new players.
