Located at the stunning Walker Ground in North London, our club has existed for over 150 years and today is proud to remain one of the best venues for club cricket in the South of England. We believe SCC offers fantastic opportunities for competitive cricket with four teams in Middlesex League action every Saturday plus cup matches and friendlies on Sundays and mid week. We offer opportunities for players of all levels.

2011 saw the 1st XI crowned champions of the Middlesex County League Div 2, this fantastic achievement means the club will be playing premier division cricket next summer against the very best clubs in the county.

Junior cricket is very important to Southgate and our thriving colts section provides coaching for boys and girls starting at under 11s. 2011 sees the launch of our Academy Squad which aims to bridge the gap between colts and senior cricket and we have high expectations for our youngsters this summer.

In 2011 we hosted several highly successful summer camps for youngsters to learn the game from professional coaches, this is something we will look to build on through the winter and those looking for junior training in a fun and safe environment should look no further.

2011 saw the return of county cricket to Southgate with Middlesex entertaining Somerset in a Friends Provident T20 that resulted in a thrilling tie.

We also welcomed the India and New Zealand’s women’s squads for a Women’s One Day International which was another fantastic honour for the club.

As a club mark accredited ECB focus club we are committed to driving our club and the game of cricket forward and are always looking for new members – young and old – to join us be it as players, officials or social members.

The season is now finished but we’re already looking towards 2012 and anyone looking for a club with a top class venue, great people and some of e best value fees in Middlesex should get in touch.
